Jimmie Rodgers - "The Singing Brakeman" (1929)

Known as the "the father of country music," Jimmie Rodgers was a folk hero in his own lifetime and the first performer elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame. This is Rodgers' only film appearance: the 1929 Columbia Pictures short "The Singing Brakeman."
